What if PR releases were parties.

Project Reality: THE PARTY - By Battle Arena

Host: "Hey guys come over for an Ice Cream and Cake party. Those of you who like booze can enjoy the open alcohol bar!"
Guest: "Yeah! That was fun!
Host: "Come back next week for an Ice Cream and Cake party. Those of you who like booze can enjoy the open alcohol bar make sure to invite more friends! We want everyone to know our parties are the best!"
Guest: "Sure"
Next week...
Guest: "We are here for booze and cake and we told our friends you were the coolest people ever and that your ice cream and cake rocks."
Host: "AWESOME! Here is your ice cream, cake, and booze!"
All: "HOORAY!"

Everyone eats and drinks...

Guest: "Excuse me. My cake won't fit on to my fork."
Host: "OH! Odd. We haven't run into that problem because we use bigger forks. Upgrade your fork to a bigger more expensive one and then you can enjoy the party!"
Guest 2: "Hey man, I don't mean to complain but my ice cream kind looks like ice cream but kind of tastes like liver."
Host: "Oh yeah. We changed the ice cream. Liver is good for you. Encourages your bodies immune system to work like a team."
Guest 2: "But I don't like liver."
Ass kissing Guest: "You complain alot. I <3 liver cream. NOOB!"

Guest 3: "WHOO HOO! WhErES the B00Z3!@#"
Host: "No booze."
Guest 3: "WHAT!@#!"
Host: "Yeah, we felt the booze really kept everyone apart. As you got a bit more tipsy a few of you would run off on your own so we figured we would substitute it for Near Beer. That way no one gets too far from the bartender."

Host 2 (counting people at the door): "THIS IS THE BEST PARTY EVER!"
Original guests: "This sucks."
New guests: "This place is kinda weird. I called some friends to come, but they are running late. Let's get out of here it's nothing like I thought it would be. They can find out about all the changes on their own."
New guests friends: "Hey I showed up and I brought friends. Why does this taste like water and liver. Oh well. They said it was a cool party and so far it's the best one I've been too!"

Guest: "YOU GUYS IS JERKS!@!@% I WANTED ICE CREAM AND CAKE AND YOU GAVE ME THIS!@%^!#^"
Other Guest: "Dude, chill out it's free."
Host: "Then don't eat or drink here. We have plenty of guests now."

I know i have been gone for a while(school), but i just thought I would check the forum to see whats going on. This is so true. I had some peps I used to play another game with, and told them they should play. Now I regret I even mentioned it.
I hope when I have time to play again(maybe 4 weeks) we can goto the old version. Isnt there a way to just reinstall? I myself loved the old version. I gave 0.8 a chance ... tell you the truth it came at just the right time. I hate having to decide if i should study or play PR. Thinking back .. i wish i could have the fast pace game play from before....... if TBA was running pre0.8 i think i would make 2 hours time to play right now.

hehe interesting analogy/way of speaking ones mind.. does make some sense when you put it into this kind of story line...
allow me to do one of my own:

Project Reality: THE PARTY - By fuzzhead

Host: "Hey everyone, were having another pot luck at Joe's place, your all welcome to come out, lets eat!"
Guests: "Yeah! That was alot of fun!
Host: "Come back next week at Sam's place for another pot luck!"
Guests: "Sure!"
Next week...
Guests: "We've brought our friends and all these different foods cause we enjoyed the last one so much."
Host: "AWESOME! Prepare your foods, lets get started!"
All: "HOORAY!"

Everyone begins sampling the elaborate dishes that were cooked by the guests...

Guest A: "Excuse me. I just arrived, I brought this raw rat stew, lets eat!"
Host: "OH! Umm.. raw rat stew? sure, your welcome to join us, lets eat!"
Guest A: "Okay but I only brought enough stew for 1 person, and all that other food looks prety gross compared to my stew."
Host: "Oh Okay, well your welcome to sit down with all of us and eat as well."
Guest B: "Umm... Guest A's stew smells disgusting Im moving away from him."
Guest C: "Me too."
Guest D: "Me too."
Guest E: "Me too."
Guest A: "Fine, Ill just go in this corner and eat this stew by myself".
Host: "Lets not fight here people"

The end.

hehe I kept it short, dont mean for this to be taken offensively just a story line.

I was tired of everyone bitching in a realitymod.com thread and somehow me trying to state that people should see both sides turned into me hating PR and getting PMs on the site about how I need to get lost. That's what the story is about.

I definitely agree theres alot of unnecessary hostility on the realitymod.com forums... its like any large internet forums, theres always a mob mentality when someone comes with a different view point. Its sad in a way really, just have to ignore those types, but sending you PM's is not cool at all, that takes it too far, if you want some action to be taken I can get action taken against the ones being hostile (chances are they are already in trouble from simular incidents).

Yup.. I don't have a bad problem with realitymod, probably because I only posted 6 times or so, but I see those "people" out there, who judge other people by their post count.

But my clan site is getting like that. I don't even bother checking in or saying hi because of some trolls that are on there.... and that's coming from a site with less than 50 active members..
