Alot of players have asked, "How can I be an Admin?" This is the new first step to becoming an admin here.
The Junior Admin program allows us the opportunity to see how different people will work out if they are admins. If chosen, you will be granted limited admin status in the form of more kickvote power. As we see you using your new found powers correctly, you will be granted more votes. Eventually you will be given full kick rights on the server and placed into a pool of promotion to have access to our exclusive and very cool web admin system that allows you the ability to monitor live games from inside your browser in real time.
Applications are now being accepted and should look like this:

I reckon i'd be a good choice because I want unlimited power and I will crush all my enemies and rule with an Iron fist....wait wrong application form. Um I dunno, I like to play fair, hate to see intentional teamkillers and hate it when people waste assets. I do have an opinion about how PR should be played, and if i'm squadleading I'll try to run my squad that way, i.e. the team comes first (i do even have a master plan for the whole team, but its impossible to get all squads to work that closely together all the time). However, i also realise PR is a game and supposed to be fun and wouldn't clamp down on anyone having fun/messing about unless its to the detriment of the team. Ummm....er...i guess thats it.

What makes me a good choice:
I don't like teamkillers, non-team players, people who disobey the server rules, people who waste assets and espically people who one man armor. I think of myself as a good team player and try to put the team before myself, and I try to pass that on to other people. I try to get the whole story before getting mad at someone. However, I realize that this is game and people deserve to have a little fun as long as they're not making other people angry.
Also, I'm awesome.

I think I would be a good junior admin because I am experienced at PR, I try to run a good squad, and when I don't lag myself to death I am a good squadmember myself. I am a fair teamplayer, and I don't lose my temper to the point my head will come off. I hate it when people teamkill for vehicles, and waste or one man assets while the server is full. I hate intentional teamkillers, and I try to go out of my way to help people if it's in my reach. I know most of the regulars that play on your server, and I don't have any hostile feelings towards players, races, or religions. I try to treat everyone with respect. If someone is teamkilling, wasting assets, or just being all out rude to someone or a religion I try to votekick them and get others to votekick them out. I feel that we are all created equal. I always try to help new players, I don't go screaming "RTFM NOOB or anything like that" (I think that's rude and barbaric).
Put my 110% into it, we'll see how it goes. |

I think I will be a good junior admin because I think I am a great PR player, and I love the game and hope that everyone has a good time. But it doesn't take much to make the round horrible or less enjoyable, usually one person that could have possibly been dealt with before any ordeal he may have created. Like that tip in the loading screen about looking different ways from the rest of your squad. You can apply that to admins. If you have more, they will notice more, and there is a higher chance of preventing anything that will ruin gameplay. So thanks for giving us this opportunity.

Reasons I should be an admin:
-I'm mature (OK old)
-all the regulars know me and most have at one time or another played in the same squad as me
-play on BA a lot and probably spent more time playing here than anyone else
-I take the game pretty seriously
-I'm admin on a few Halo PC servers and 1 other PR server that belongs to my Halo clan [JDRS] (no one plays on the JDRS PR server though)

Terror told me to apply so here I am.
Im 37 and live in Denmark. Most regulars know me on the server. Being in an In house squad at TG, and playing there often taught me that teamwork is essential in PR, and even more in .08 and having players tking or wasting assets can turn the tide of war very easily now. I always keep an eye out for offenders even it doesn't involve me and reports this to an admin if available.
Im looking forward to be part of the team do educate the newcomers to the rules and general behavior on the server and keeping the smacktards out.

What makes me a good choice:
- Have been a top level JDRS administrator for the last 2 years and a JDRS RCON holder for the last 3. I Currently administer 3 halo:PC JDRS servers, and one JDRS PR server (not populated).
- I am a squad player, that leads about 33% of the time and tries to further the teams objectives (and have insane amounts of fun). The other 67% of the time i am a medic, whos duty is to keep a squad "alive" and "stable".
- Have played with a number of regulars,junior admins, and admins.
- Find single seating (or misusing) assets of extreme stupidity that deserves to be kicked (especially insurgent technicals).

What makes me a good choice: Although I am still a newbie, I am a quick learner when I first started playing this game I was all about the run and gun lone wolf. You quickly learn in this game that teamwork is key. I learned how to work as a team and function properly in this game. I have time spent as SL,COM, and as a soldier being led. I believe in using assets wisely as it is crucial during game play. This is my server of choice since I started playing. I enjoy the game play and the people I play with on here. If I was to be given admin rights they would be used correctly to keep the server how it has always been...amazing and thats why I think I should be privileged enough to have junior admin.

Why I would be a good junior admin:
First and foremost, I have admined a VBF2 server before. Second, I play alot at your Muttrah server as both the MEC and USA. Third, I absolutely hate people who TK for kits, vehicles, fun, whatever. Fourth, I don't believe in punishing people because they tried and failed, I believe in punishing them if they don't learn. (IE: Crash a chopper on takeoff, get in another, crash that one too). Fifth, I absolutely hate 1 manning APC's/ attack choppers, it's wastefull and idiodic.
One thing I'm curious about though, so I'll put it here. If a player joins your squad, takes the sniper kit, then leaves to make his own, 1 man squad, is that ok? Or kickworthy? |

I believe its more like a guideline for players, not a rule a admin should enforce.
We cant force people to play a certain stragegy, we can encourage them to do so. |
