What an amazing 8 seasons it has been, there is not another show on tv in any country that has been able to touch it since its inception.
It also created a character who will go down in legend, not just among 24 fans but also among others. Jack Bauer in terms of urban myth status is up there among the other greats.


And what a series finale, sure season 8 looked like it would be complete garbage at the start, but slowly from the midway point of the season it turned into classic 24. Never again will there ever be a series like this, sure there are other shows that have one or two of the qualities that 24 had, but none of them had or i doubt ever will have the same combination of high octane action, suspense, plot twists, thrills etc and that makes me sad.


How will i cope without this show on tv anymore, sure there will be a film, but still, once a year i had looked forward to a new season of 24 and now that is gone forever.


Like i said to my friends, a world without Jack Bauer is a world i don't want to live in.


So when you come to a tricky situation sometime in your futures take a moment and ask yourself, what would Jack Bauer do?

Hm, I totally ignored this series. So i really missed something?
Hey, do "Jack Bauer" have german sources?
It's a common name here.
Bauer means "farmer" in german btw. Wink
